Just got our cheap underwater camera developed and thought we'd share some of the pics. As usual with these cameras most of the pictures are just a black blur but a couple are pretty neat.
These first few are from our trip out to Poor Knights Island to explore the marine reserve. It was a cloudy dark day so unfortunately a little murkey under the water.
Snapper fish were absolutely everywhere but it was tricky to duck dive down close enough as the tide was smashing up against the island.
Occasionally the deadly box jellyfish which has upto 3 meter tenticles passes through these waters. This one above was about the size of a dinner plate and there were plenty of them around.
The snaps below are from a little spot called Cable Bay Reserve just 15 minutes outside of Nelson. Its a fantastic spot to take out the kyaks and explore the coastlines water caves and stop off at beaches which can only be accessed by the water.
Great blogg really really love to see what you and naomi are up to.It must be hard to keep it up but we love seeing where you are in your big adventure.love mumxx
