Sharks and Art and that...

The city centre of Sydney is much like any other we've visited really. In the CBD there are all the attractions/sites to see and the hustle and bustle of fighting your way through crowds of foreign people to get to them. I guess it's almost certainly a lot busier at the moment given that New Years eve is today.

The Sydney aquarium is awesome. No sign of any spiders or snakes yet but plenty of sharks...

Depsite the large crowds we also caught sightings of a load of stingrays and a couple of cool manatees that were being fed heaps of lettuce.

The museum of modern art is currently showing an exhibition from Anish Kapoor, someone who Nay had heard of and we dropped in to take a look. As usual with modern art most of it was wierd but the scale and interactivity of some of the pieces made them brilliant to look at. The one below was a massive mound of red wax with a huge hammer clock-type arm that rotates once every hour to smooth out the wax into a groove.

These two were also pretty cool but no idea what they were all about:

This next one wasnt by Anish but we've titled it "Spidey vs. wierd head on long bendy neck"
